The Not Just A Girl Charity Flash Day is a tattoo event where some of Australia's best female identifying artists work together to raise money and awareness for women in need. My friends Melanie Milne and Sasha Mezoglian created the event out of our frustration for the lack of representation and recognition of the talent of women in tattooing. The last flash day was held on Sunday the 28th October 2018, with 43 amazing artists tattooing at three locations, The Darling Parlour in Sydney, The Grand Illusion in Melbourne and Trailer Trash in Brisbane. So far NJAG events have raised over $135000 for charities including Fullstop Foundation, now known as the Rape and Domestic Violences Services Australia supporting people affected by sexual and domestic violence.
