In February 2020, Australia was experiencing some of its worst bushfires in our history and everyone at FLT Tattoo Studio wanted to help rescue and rehabilitate wildlife and help folks rebuild after the disaster. In just one day we managed to raise $19680 which was donated to both Red Cross Australia and WIRES. Click to see more pictures.
Not Just A Girl Tattoo Podcast gives you a glimpse into the lives and art of some of my favourite tattoo artists, through an intersectional feminist lens. We will discuss how they came to tattooing, their art practice, their inspirations and experiences and how they use their platform to contribute to equality both within tattooing and the greater community. I took part in a documentary series about tattooing called Beneath The Ink by Naked Life Series. I appear alongside my team at FLT Tattoo Studio in episode 7 "Friendship, Love, Truth", as well at episode 3 "Not Just A Girl", alongside my co-organisers Mel and Sash. The series is currently available on Amazon Prime or can be rented to stream here.
